Every morning Mahmood and his friend, Mehdi, walk to school. They are usually at school before eight o’clock. But yesterday they were not. They waited for the bus for half an hour. They arrived at school at 8. the door of the classroom was not open. Mehdi opened the door and they walked in. Their teacher was not in the classroom. Mehdi and his friend walked to their desk. A few minutes later, the teacher opened the door and walked in. He said hello to his students. They opened their books and listened to the teacher.
