  8. 2014 NSS/MIC Mobile App Status • OS targets – iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows 8 Mobile, and Internet browser version • Primary focus is smartphones • Will work on tablets, but not fully tested (except for iPad) • Auto-rotation only functional on iOS • Initial beta version in development • Ready for committee evaluation – end of March • First deployment – May (Apple iTunes, Google Play Store, conference website) • Investment total now $53K • $23K: Initial iOS/Android-only app • $15K: Add Blackberry, Windows 8 Mobile, and Browser versions (replaces tablet deployment plan) • $4.5K: Expanded interactive mapping • $10.5K: Multi-tiered program architecture While the cost is higher than originally budgeted, the additional fees for expanded features and capabilities are NRE costs.
