Wednesday 19th June Create your own media message Ripple Centre 9:30-12:00 Everyone Everyday (cooking ) 10:00-13:00 Barking Campus Reading Club taster (Room 8) 12:30-15:00 Barking Campus Read and Play (Reading room): a fun based workshop. Barking Campus It will be mostly aimed at nursery school, reception and KS1 with their parent Setting up a Charity Ripple Centre 15:30-17:30 Try a bit of Meditation 18:30-20:30 (BLC room 115) For those who have thought about meditation but have never got around to it or are unsure. This session will introduce people to simple meditation techniques they can use to calm and de-stress themselves

Volunteer of the Year “Darren Was awarded Volunteer of the Year in a recent celebration of volunteers within the borough and was awarded his award and certificate by the Mayor on Friday 7th June.Darren has been a learner with us for a number of years and has been a very active volunteer within the borough. He joined us a volunteer last year as part of our work experience programme and we are pleased that he decided to stay on and become a member of our volunteer staff within the college and is an asset to us.He works diligently and always has a lovely smile.Congratulations Darren a very worthy winner.”
