  1. Transforming Three Mile Creek Protecting and enhancing the health, culture, and economic well-being of our community through responsible management of an urban water resource A Proposition from the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program MAWSS Board Meeting July 23, 2012

  2. Once upon a time, Three Mile Creek was an important source of water for the City of Mobile. It provided drinking water to the Mobile Community until the outbreak of World War II. More than seventy years have passed and the value of Three Mile Creek has waned. But it doesn’t have to be that way…

  3. Imagine Three Mile Creek flowing through the heart of Mobile…

  4. With walking trails along its banks…

  5. A Three Mile Creek greenbelt stretching from the University of South Alabama to Mobile River

  6. Picture neighborhoods along Three Mile Creek being linked to this greenbelt by walking and bike trails.

  7. Dream of a series of anchor parks along Three Mile Creek…some existing, some new

  8. Our Vision is Simple. Three Mile Creek will once again be the life blood of the City of Mobile. Where once it provided water to City residents so they could thrive… May it once more be the water that nourishes our community, sustaining us all.
