  1. YCP Paintball and Airsoft Club

  2. Council • President: Aaron Roth • Vice President: William (Bill) Miller • Treasurer: Travis Brown • Secretary: Elena Johnson

  3. Message to Members • We would first like to thank you all for showing up to our first meeting and showing interest in the club. We will strive to do everything we can to make this the most fun club on campus, if at any time you have input on how we can improve upon the club, please let us know.

  4. Brief Overview • This club’s primary goal is to give students of YCP a fun, and enjoyable outlet, whether you are a veteran of the sports, or a newcomer who is looking to try them out for the first time. • We will have an equal opportunity to play both airsoft and paintball, so no matter which one you joined to play, you will have a chance to do it many times.

  5. Places we can go • Ski Roundtop (20 min North) • Route 40 Paintball (30 min South, off Route 40 in MD) • Robin Hood (In Harford County Maryland) • Skirmish (Albrightsville, PA) • Ambush Paintball and Airsoft (Conestoga, PA) • Wanna Play (Dillsburg, PA) • Tactical Airsoft Arena (Rockville, MD) • If you have any places you know we could go, please let us know!

  6. Requirements of the group • As members of YCPA, you must sign release forms from both the group, and host locations to be eligible for trips. This is to ensure we are not liable for anything. • New members must also sign our Code of Conduct agreement form before you can play as well, this will be available at meetings and online, just be sure to get it to us so you know the basic guidelines we have set.

  7. Some things we will be offering to the group • We are in the process of designing t-shirt, and jersey designs for our group, in bulk, we will be able to sell them relatively cheap to you. Not only will you get a neat shirt, but it will let the campus know that we exist and spread the word. • If you are interested in this, please sign our sign up sheet so we can get a rough estimate on how many we should order. We will have designs for both airsoft, and paintball.

  8. Club Money-Our options • As the first order of business, we would like your input on any money we get from fundraisers/and the senate. • We currently have a $300 yearly budget from Senate, and whatever we make from fundraisers. • We can use this money for a few things. • The first option is to use it for deposits for reserving game locations for the day for trips. • Seconds option is to use it to help alleviate some of the cost of playing per student. This option would burn through the cash extremely fast however depending on our total active members. • Third option is to use it to cover costs of storing playing equipment in local climate controlled storage units. So those with their own equipment will have it here to use. • Any other ideas let us know.

  9. Gun/Equipment Storage • Since we cannot keep our equipment on campus, we have a few options. • Store it in climate controlled storage units (listed on next page) • Store it at commuters houses. (Note that this option is at your own risk and the commuter will not be held liable for anything if you consent to this) • If you have somewhere nearby you could store it, that’s your own prerogative.

  10. Capital Self Storage • This is by far the nicest storage facility I have seen in my years around York, at a reasonable price of $57 per month for a 5x5 space. • If we don’t use group money to cover the costs, the members who store equipment there will have to split the cost. Which wouldn’t be too bad seeing that we have 40+ current members signed up for the club. • This is located in West York, literally only a 5 minute drive from campus.

  11. How can we get money • First off, as a member of this club, if you want things to be cheaper then you will need to help out with raising money. It won’t be hard and if need be we will keep track of who raises what so only they get benefits from helping out. These events aren’t cheap and it will really help with costs. • It could be as simple as getting groups together to eat at certain restaurants when we schedule fundraiser deals with them. • Money from ordering/selling tshirts will go straight into the treasury as well. • We are trying to organize some advertisement deals with local businesses to earn a profit as well, which would only require you to wear clothes or have something on you with their logo or name.

  12. Any Ideas or suggestions? • Please let us know, we have multiple forms of communication that you can use to get a hold of us if meetings do not suffice.
