If you and others were trying to protect a person or an animal from harm, why would coordinating your efforts be important? Give an example of a situation in which you would expect to see people coordinating their movements. Imperative Necessary, urgent or not to be avoided It was imperative that someone rescue the puppy. What kinds of situations make taking action imperative? Intervene To come between in order to help settle a situation The teacher needed to intervene when the students became unruly.
