  4. Apex Learning

  5. Apex Learning provides the courses. • FUSD provides the instruction. What is Apex Learning?

  6. Online teachers: Please sign into your Apex Learning account and • Click on Support. • Click on Media Library. • Click on Video Guided Tours above. (It may take a moment to get started.) The Apex Learning video

  7. Log-in (http://apexvs.com)

  8. With the computer in front of you, go to: http://ApexVS.com And click on the System Check. There may be problems (easily fixed) with • Flash (it might prompt you to download). • Pop-up Blocker (turn it off). System Check-up

  9. You will be given a password today. You should log-in and change the password in class today. • If you lose it, you can request a new one. • Log into your course. Passwords

  10. Quizzes can be done anywhere. You have 3 chances before it gets locked down. The teacher needs to open it back up for you. • Tests must be done in the classroom. Quizzes & Tests

  11. A coach can be: • A parent/guardian/other relative • An AVID teacher • Anyone who can motivate you to complete the course. • If you don’t have the email address now, be sure to bring it to your online teacher. Who is your coach?

  12. Absolutely. When you have completed the course, you no longer need to come to school. But… • Don’t make that determination for yourself. You aren’t done until your teacher gives you your final grade. Can you finish the course early?
