Because

  3. Why the job candidate was not hired • Provocative or inappropriate photos or information displayed on site. (53%) • Photos and posts about drinking or drug use. (44%). • Bad mouthing previous employers, colleagues, etc. (35%). • Proof of lying about qualifications posted on networking site. (24%).

  4. Some reasons why the job candidate was hired • Candidates profile provided a good feel for personality (50%). • Profile supported candidates professional qualifications (39%). • Candidate proved to be well-rounded and creative (38%). Employers having access to your social networking site can actually help you get hired!

  6. The number of employers checking a job candidates facebook has actually doubled in the last year, and the number is only going to continue to grow.

  7. So whether we like it or not, employers will have access to our social networking sites, so we should just use it to our own advantage. Just make yourself look good!

  8. become apart of the group that is still hired after employers view your facebook! • Just delete the bad pictures • Don’t advertise your parties • Don’t post any inappropriate behavior Just keep it clean!
