  1. Summary of STAR Status. Presented at C-AD Time mtg May12, 2009. W.B. Christie Example of rates for production2009_200GeV_Single BBC coincidence rates ~ 350 kHz, Date May 8, 2009.

  2. Run “Efficiency” for store starting late evening on May 11th Red = BBC coin from RHIC Scalers Green = BBC coin from trigger pp2pp BBC coincidence rate (Hz) C-AD Polarization measurements & STAR Laser Calibrations Time (Hour of Day) Constantly working on Crew efficiency (~ three new crews every week) and doing fairly well.

  3. DAQ Deadtimes low: ~ 5% for Jets ~ 15 to 20% for other Triggers STAR Goal is 6.5 pb-1 STAR Goal is 50 pb-1

  4. Summary • Physics Trigger configuration tuned and stable. • Constantly working on Crew efficiency (~ three new crews every week) and doing fairly well. • DAQ Deadtimes low: ~ 5% for Jets, ~ 15 to 20% for other Triggers • Need more luminosity, polarization, and uptime. STAR Goal is 50 pb-1 of sampled luminosity STAR Goal 6.5 pb-1 sampled FOM Accumulated to date, and projection at current rate. 50 pb-1 of sampled luminosity @ 60% polarization Accumulated to date, and projection at current rate.
