  2. Saying of Muhammad (p): “Oh Lord, show us things as they are.”

  3. Living with Divine Oneness To see the attributes of the One in every thing. To open a window directly onto His light from every thing. To attain to perpetual awareness of the Divine presence.

  4. Consider the creatures as pure and transparent water, which shine the attributes of the One. Their knowledge, their justice, their kindness- All are from the heaven reflected in the flowing water. -Rumi

  5. If you look at the creatures, You see the form of the creatures… If you look in the creatures, You see the attributes of the One

  6. If you look at movie screen, You see the form of the movie screen (the screen itself)… If you look in the movie screen, You see the attributes of the Director (you watch the movie!!)

  7. How do we get there? By contemplation By contemplating the universe and ourselves with the guidance of divine Withdraw the heart into the arena of contemplation, nothing helps the heart more than that! -SidiIbnAta’illah of Alexandria

Read, in the name of your lord who created, created the human from a germ cell (Quran 96:1-2) Inquiry • Look at the human… • What qualities are necessary to form him? • Look at the germ cell… • Does it possess these qualities? • Think about this inquiry for every moment of human development, • Every living being, every thing…

  11. “He makes meaningful things out of simple things.”

  12. “He makes one thing out of everything” Inquiry • Look at our skin… & the food we eat… • What qualities are necessary to form a skin out of innumerable ingredients? • Look at the skin… • Does it possess these qualities? • Think about this inquiry for every moment of skin aging, • Every thing…

  13. If we do these inquiries, we will recognize that these immaterial qualities are always present, infinite, timeless, reflected everywhere, now, right here… The One is making himself known to us through his qualities that are reflected everywhere…

  14. Without the projector, there will be no movie! Without the Source of all qualities, there will be no creation!

  15. All pictured forms are reflections in the water of the stream; when you rub your eyes, indeed, all are showing Him. -Rumi
