Mentorship: Building Bright Futures through Positive Role Modeling and Support

A mentor plays a crucial role in a child's life by being a positive role model and teaching social skills, values, and principles. They guide children in making assertive choices, resolving conflicts, and honing life skills like budgeting or using public transportation. Mentors also offer friendship, support, and inspiration while assisting with school projects and exploring educational and vocational opportunities. By actively engaging in a child's cognitive development and participating in community and cultural activities, mentors help shape a child's future positively. Kidsave's dream is to ensure every child has a nurturing family, either biological or through supportive mentors.
