  1. Rainforest Animals Mrs. Radcliffe and Mrs. Weeks’s First Grade Class We can research animals that live in rainforests around the world, take notes, then create a PowerPoint presentation that shares that information.

  2. Red Eyed Tree Frog By Brandon Neal It lives in the rainforest. It eats bugs. Red eyed tree frogs can jump. It hibernates in the winter.

  3. The Spider Monkey • The spider monkey will eat fruit • The spider monkey lives high in the rainforest • The spider monkey is about 14 pounds • The spider monkey grows to be approximately 15-20 inches tall • The female spider monkey will usually have one infant by Alex Hypes

  4. The Blue Morpho Butterfly The Blue Morpho Butterfly lives in Central and South America and parts of Mexico. by Aniesha Walston

  5. Toucan • Toucans live in central and south America. • They live in tropical areas. • They will eat mostly small fruit and sometimes insects. • Toucans can grow to be about • 33- 65 centimeters tall. • The female toucan lays about 2-4 eggs each year. • By A’niya Farmer

  6. Poison Dart Frog • A Poison Dart Frog lays a group of eggs in the water which take about 12 days to hatch. • A Poison Dart Frog lives in marshes, streams and rivers. • It eats termites, crickets, flies, and ants. • It is endangered when it jumps. • It is 1 to 7 cm long. By Deanah McDaniel

  7. Boa Constrictors • Boa constrictors average 6-14 feet in length. They can be as long 18 feet. They squeeze their prey then eat it whole. They are reptiles. They live Mexico, Central America, and South America. • by Donavan Branson

  8. Reticulated Python • They can eat from a rats hole. My animal digs a deep hole. It lives south near Asia. It eats birds and mammals. It is not endangered. Its color is black and brown. My animal can grow to be 15 to 25 feet long. • By Emilie Alford

  11. Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing Butterfly I learned that these butterflies can be 12 inches long. They eat flowers or toxic pipevine plant. I learned in winter it covers itself up. They live in the Papua New Guinea Rainforest too. They are not endangered . It is not wild. I have never heard of a Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing Butterfly.   15. Chimpanzee • A chimpanzee is found in • west and central equatorial • Africa. A Chimpanzee eats • plants and animals. This • includes seeds, fruits,leaves, • bark, insects such as termites, and small prey. AChimpanzee can be as big as 90-120 pounds and as tall as 2.5 to 3 feet. A Chimpanzee’s pregnancy period will last between 7.5 to 8 months. A chimpanzeewill usually give birth to one infant but sometimes will give birth to twins. Bengal Tiger • It lives in Southeast Asia and in parts of India, China, and Bangladesh. • It eats antelopes, boars, monkeys, pigs, birds, and elephants. • The female Bengal Tiger’s pregnancy period is approximately 3 to 4 months and it has a litter of approximately 2 to 4 cubs. • My animal can grow to be this big-400-600 lbs.   17. Reticulated Python • It lives in Southeastern Asian countries. It eats birds and mammals. My animal can grow to be this big: 15 feet to 25 feet.
