Key facts about Gatwick Airport • World’s busiest single runway airport • 2nd largest airport in the UK - 32 million passengers • Approximately 80 airlines and around 200 destinations • Busiest UK airport railway station - over 12 million rail users • Over 23,000 jobs on airport campus, and supports a further 13,000 through related activities • £985 million investment programme underway to 2013 • Largest UK Airport to be ISO 14001 registered & achieve Carbon Trust Standard
