  6. Theory of Change Vision The SUYI will significantly transform Seattle University and the Bailey Gatzert neighborhood and become a national model of campus-community engagement. Goal 1 Youth graduate from high school prepared to succeed in higher education and in life Goal 2 Seattle U students, faculty staff and alumni lead for a just and humane world Goal 3 Advance the field of higher education & community engagement Create a network of support for neighborhood children and families Expand and deepen campus engagement in the neighborhood Disseminate promising practices and lessons learned

Our Questions • What do they think about the Serve Local campaign? • What are barriers and motivations to participation in place-based community engagement at Seattle University? • What do they think about the Youth Initiative? • What do they know? What do they want to know? • How can CCE staff reach SU students using technology and social media? • What would an effective digital strategy look like?
