  15. CMLDP Overview Designed to accelerate leadership development Intensive training 180 hrs in leadership, contract management, and NCMA Governance 4 mandatory F2F meetings, 10 webcasts, 4 Ethics & Compliance course, research paper Each student assigned 2 mentors

Chapters Role in CMLDP • Chapter should encourage applications • Chapter should assist applicants • Provide a letter of support • Determine how the candidate will fit into the chapter succession plan • Determine how candidate will be involved in chapter activities for at least 2 years • Determine if any funds are available to support the applicant • It is NOT the Chapter’s role to STOP an application

Metrics – Return on Expectations • Rate of CMLDP graduates holding an NCMA certification to the general NCMA membership (measurers professional strength) • General membership certification (excludes CMLDP) = 8% • CMLDP certification (includes grads and students) = 18% • Rate of CMLDP graduates being elected to a chapter office including president, president-elect, VP, treasurer, and secretary (measures association strength) • CMLDP grads and students holding chapter offices = 68% • Elected to president, president-elect, or VP = 34%

  33. New Student Chapter Application Put on Hold • On April 28th, NCMA placed new student chapter applications on hold. • Student chapters will be discussed at the July Board of Directors meeting. • If you are interested in starting a student chapter, please contact chapterrelations@ncmahq.org

Chapter Grants • If you received a grant for 2010 – 2011, remember to send in your final report to chapterrelations@ncmahq.org • Chapter presidents received a letter with information about the 2011-2012 program this week. • Grant applications will be due on Sept 19th • NCMA has $50,000 to distribute to chapters in need

  36. New NES Offering • NCMA adds “The 100 Worst Mistakes in Government Contracting” to the list of available NES offerings for chapters • First offering will be at World Congress in Denver • Three different NES choices available on Thursday after World Congress
