  1. How to: Pages By Sydney, Kasha, and Kortney

  2. Step One: Open Pages Find Pages on your iPad. It is an orange icon with a pen on it.

  3. Step Two: Create a Document Click Create Document (shown here with a red box around it.)

  4. Changing Font First you will click the paint brush in the upper right-hand part of the screen. Then click style (show here outlined in red with an arrow pointing to it.) Then you will click 12 pt Helvetica which will bring you to a new page.

  6. Turning on Word Count Begin by clicking the tool at the upper right-hand corner of your screen (shown outlined in red here with an arrow pointing to it.) Then click settings.

  7. Turning on Word Count (continued) After clicking settings, a page like this will come up. Word count (outlined in red with an arrow pointing to it) is the second thing listed. Slide the switch and it should turn blue, meaning it is on.

  8. Adding a Graph Begin by clicking the plus button (outlined by a red box here.) The third tab over is the graph tab. Click this. Here you can select your graph of choice.

  9. Editing Graph Data Once you have placed a graph, click the graph. Five (5) options should appear. The fourth option over (outlined in red) is edit data. Click this.

  10. Editing Graph Data (continued) Here you may input your data. Once complete, click done.

  11. Adding Shapes Click the plus button (outlined in red.)

  12. Adding Shapes (continued) Click the final box (outlined in red.) This will give you your shape options.

  13. Adding Shapes (continued) Pick your shape. Notice that there are more shapes if you swipe to the left or right.

  14. Adding Photos Press the plus sign (outlined in red here.)

  16. Adding Photos (continued) Click camera roll.

  17. Adding Photos (continued) Browse your photos to find the photo you would like to insert into the document. Click the photo. It will then be added to your document.
