WHAT IS IT • The need to experience the world physically through touching and manipulating objects. • Learning happens by "doing," involving all of the senses and prefer concrete, real-life experiences over abstract concepts • It includes control of the bodily motions, the ability to handle objects skilfully and the gift for using whole body motions

What do I gain? • Explores the environment and objects through touch and movement. • Learn by touch, handle, or manipulate. • Develops coordination and a sense of timing. • Learn by direct involvement and participation. • Remembers by doing rather than what was said or observed. • Enjoy concrete learning experiences such as field trips, model building, or participating in role play, games, assembling objects, or physical exercise. • Dexterity in working by means of small or gross motor movements. • Become sensitive and responsive to physical environments and physical systems. • Demonstrate skill in acting, athletics, dancing, sewing, carving, or keyboarding.

What do I gain? • Demonstrate balance, grace, dexterity, and precision in physical tasks. • Develop the ability to fine-tune and perfect physical performance through mind and body integration. • Understand and live by healthy physical standards. • May expres interest in careers such as those of an athlete, dancer, surgeon, or builder. • Invent new approache to physical skills or create new forms in dance, sports, or other physical activities.
