  3. ROMANIA has the strongest aircraft industry in South Eastern Europe, and local network are trying to find and to concentrate local expertise in this field. Questionnaires were sent to all network members, regarding - hardware; - experimental capabilities; - intentions; Most of the answers underlined the ideea to concentrate national / regional efforts to build - modern, cost effective 4 -5 seats propeller airplane - short / medium regional airplane

  5. NETWORK CONTRIBUTION -BEARING DESIGN & TESTING (DEDICATED TEST RIG EXISTING) -HIGH PRECISION GEAR PARTS DESIGN & MANUFACTURING IN COOPERATION WITH CERTIFIED ROMANIAN PARTNERS -GEAR MODELLING, INCLUDING STRESS, VIBRATION AND THERMAL DISTORSION EVALUATION

  6. PROPOSED DIRECTIONS TO BE EXPLORED IN THE FUTURE • VIBRATION / NOISE-RESPONSE IMAGING (VRI) • INCREASING RESEARCH & TESTING CAPACITY FOR MULTI BLADED PROPELLERS
