Fixed Wireless • Uses cellular technology, 4G technology • Transmit signals to and from a small antenna fixed on the outside of home or business • Each wireless facility serves a set no. of premises • Speed & quality of service depends on, in-premise connection & equipment and plans offered by ISP’s.
Fixed Wireless • Fixed wireless access speed of up to 12Mbps • Equipment: Outdoor antenna, fixed network termination device.
Satellite broadband • Satellite broadband is generally used where terrestrial broadband—optic fibre, copper wire DSL, wireless broadband access—is not available
