Projects which also involve collaboration between Scottish HEIs are particularly welcome. The type of KTE activity may include a combination of workshops, seminars, training packages, web-based resources etc. Proposals should be costed on a non-FEC basis and projects can be up to one year duration.

  9. Analysis & Evaluation of Police Reform:Opportunities for SIPR Informing discussions of how policing might be organised and delivered (Critical Issues in Policing Seminar Programme); Coordinating work around analysis and evaluation ( Researching Police Reform Working Group) Supporting research into the impacts of reform: How will citizens experience and perceive local policing? What is the impact on the capacity and effectiveness of the police? Will the reforms deliver the substantial financial savings? How will the new arrangements for governance and accountability work?; How will the reforms impact on those working in police organisations in terms of careers, roles and responsibilities, and professional development? What can Scotland learn from police reform programmes in other countries?
