  5. Our School • Our school has been around for 55 years from 1954-2010. • Grades 3, 4 and 5 are going to the Intermediate school next year. Our school will only have grades K-3. Right now we have grade K-5 • There are 27 classrooms and 629 students • We are south of York. We are next to Interstate 83 and 5 miles south of York, on the Susquehanna trail.

  7. Our School District • Our mascot is a wildcat • The school colors are blue & white • Location 34 south of Harrisburg and 5 miles south of York • We have 8 schools and 5,800 student. • The school is 52.5 square miles. • We are building a new Intermediate school for grades 4 to 6

  8. Christmas in our town • We have a “Christmas in ______” that occurs in November. • Decorations, lights, trees, candy, playing of music and homemade food.

Business & Stores nearby us • Smith Village is a furnishing shop • State police barracks is behind our school • The bowling alley nearby is the Springfield Bowling Alley • Mama's pizza is a favorite Italian restaurant next to our school • Browns Orchards & Farm Market have fruits & produce not too far away
