The Iditarod. By Trevor. What is the Iditarod?. The Iditarod is a race that is in Alaska and the distance of the race is from Anchorage to Nome. They race with sled dogs. It was first started by Joe Redington , Sr in 1973. The last Iditarod was won by Dallas Seavey.

  2. What is the Iditarod? The Iditarod is a race that is in Alaska and the distance of the race is from Anchorage to Nome. They race with sled dogs. It was first started by Joe Redington, Srin 1973. The last Iditarod was won by Dallas Seavey.

  6. Obstacles in the Iditarod Moose are obstacles in the Iditarod because they can jump on the dogs. Another obstacle are storms because they can make them get sick and lost. One last obstacle is ice because it can break and a team can fall in.
