  2. Monday, 06 January 2020 Driving Question: Who is the person of Moses? Warm I can identify important events in Moses’ life. Hot I can explain different events in Moses’ life. Scorching I can evaluate the impact of these events on the Jewish people.

  3. Starter: Create a mind map with everything you remember about Moses. • You could think about: • his family background/connections • what he did during his life • Why he is important. I can identify who Moses is. I can explain more than 7 things about Moses. I can explain what Moses did that was important (from prior learning)

  4. Whole Group Task Together we will read the story of Exodus. In one color highlighter, underline any words you do not understand. In another color, highlight any FACTS about Moses.

  5. The story of Exodus 1) Clarify Write down unfamiliar words or phrases. 2) Summarise Write down any facts about Moses. 3) Question Create three questions that you can ask somebody in your group to test their understanding..

  6. Cut out these events in Moses’ life and stick them in your book in the right order Next to each event write down the chapter in Exodus that it matches: e.g. Exodus 1- Moses is born Add further detail from the text next to each statement.
