  3. Where is the Cooperation? • 4 out of 5 loans; 1 out of 3 TAs involve CSOs • PAK & BAN: 10 loans each with CSOs • Leading Sectors for CSO involvement: • Transport & Communications (20) • Energy (10) • Multisector (10)

  4. Partnerships with CSOs under Strategy 2020 • "Partnerships with...nongovernment organizations, community-based organizations, and foundations will become central to planning, financing, and implementing ADB operations”

  5. Potential Cooperation under “Drivers of Change” • PSD/PSO - creating more business friendly environment • Good Governance - corruption risk assessments, freedom of information, citizen scorecards, benchmarking • Gender - improving access for females to education, health services, clean water, better sanitation, and basic infrastructure • Partnerships - protecting biodiversity while improving livelihoods

  6. Collaboration in Core Work Areas • Infrastructure - Urban Transport, WSS • Environment - DRM, Clean Energy • Regional Cooperation-A.I., HIV/AIDS, Trafficking • Financial Sector Development - Microfinance, SMEs • Education - Advocacy, Literacy
