What is a Brownfield site? • A Brownfield site is made to plan the redevelopment of a state's urban areas. • They exist in places with lots of toxic waste and pollution. • The Brownfield’s go to cities and communities. They asses the potential problems.
Where is our Brownfield? • The Brownfield we chose was in Honolulu, Hawai’i. • The Site is on the 33-acre Makai property in the Kaka'ako district, situated in Honolulu just north of Waikiki Beach.
