  4. AE presentations The address is: American Eagle Outfitters 19 Hot Metal St Pittsburgh, Pa 15203

  5. AE Meet at AE building 19 at 4:30PM, Dec 5. Takes 20 minutes leaving Duquesne to get parked and to building 19. Leave Duquesne at 4:00PM Meet at North entrance College Hall Drivers? Who is going straight to AE?

  6. AE Parking: Ignot Garage. It is the garage directly next to AE building 77 (the one with the large eagle on it). Grab the ticket from the garage on your way in. I'll provide passes for validation, but you will need both tickets to exit.

  7. AE Meeting Place: Lobby of building 19. It is directly across the street from building 77 (the one with the large eagle on it). I have a room reserved on the first floor of 19 for the presentations.

AE: December 5, 4:30PM. • Presentation Prep – needs (Remember to be professional) • Handouts - Printed report for 8 people: • User research documentation • Tasks scenarios and personas • Task analysis | workflow diagrams • Wireframes in digital and printed form • Visual Comps • Usability test findings • Conclusions and Recommendations • Disk • Wireframes • Comps • HTML/CSS • Include a copy of the user research/specification document on disk. • Presentation files

  10. Report Sections - suggestions • Title page • Executive summary • User research • Tasks scenarios and personas • Task analysis | workflow diagrams • Wireframes • Visual Comps • User testing • Methods • Performance results • Satisfaction results • Conclusions and Recommendations

  11. Please remember… Plan for a 15 minute presentation. In presentation, highlight major points. Refer to minor points in documentation. Highlight users, goals and specific tasks. 11

  12. Please remember… • Highlight what makes your design unique? What does it offer, does it solve a problem, etc. • Remember to refer to ios7 guidelines • deference, clarity, and depth. • Highlight your testing and data collection. • Highlight your ideas about Location.

  13. Please remember… • Your presentation is about providing ideas, recommendations, solutions. It is not about critiquing the AE App. • Be positive and sensitive to AE’s investment (time, money, etc.) in the existing interface design. • Don’t make claims without evidence or data.

  14. Please remember… • Recommend solutions that are potentially more effective, efficient, and/or enjoyable – and provide evidence as to how they are better.

  15. Please remember… Remember to Review guidelines/specs on class web site. Highlight the items that AE wrote in those guidelines/specs.

  16. <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"/> This line tells the browser to set the width of the viewport equal to the width of the device screen (width=device-width), whatever that happens to be. The initial-scale sets the zoom level to 1 (100%).
