Rev Prep Station Expectations • Make sure your hands are clean before use. • Report any damages ASAP. • Absolutely no food or drinks. • Be productive (only logging in to APPROPRIATE websites/ computer programs). • Be respectful of the computer (no rough typing/ risky behavior with computer). • Every 10 minutes, stop and focus on an object for 10 seconds. *Failure to comply will result in loss of computer privilege.

  3. Introduction • Welcome to Revolution Prep, with this you will learn how to master the skills and techniques on how to use Revolution Prep. You are required to keep a composition book that you will keep in class where you will journal your progress from the mentor sessions in Rev. Prep.

Basics • First, you must make a format in which you divide the paper into two sections, before you begin with your mentor sessions. • On the left section is where you jot down notes or tips in order to help you throughout the mentor session or your error analysis. • On the right section is where you actually show your work and remember to write down the original problem.

  6. Error Analysis • Throughout the mentor sessions the problems might get harder and you most likely will make a mistake. When you do get a problem wrong you must identify what your mistake was by working along with Rev. Prep step-by-step with the diagnostic given. • Ask yourself these questions: • What is the problem asking me? • How do I solve this type of problem? • What is the diagnostic telling me? • Where did I go wrong? • What do I need to remember in order to not make the same mistake again? • After you figure out where you went wrong redo the problem to get the right answer.
