Problem 6 • Consider a student club or organization in which you are a member. What are the data entities of this enterprise? List and define each entity. Then develop an enterprise data model showing these entities and important relationships between them. Problem 7 • a) The individual is responsible for the individual database • b) The workstation should only involve taking information from the server to avoid data conflicts and the changing of data should happen on the server. • c) Security to protect against unauthorized disclosure can be accomplished by only allowing certain groups of people to have access to certain parts of the database. • d) They can maintain standards by using correct programs that force different formats and be very clear about definitions. • e) They have to have database support and universal access to the data. If all components have these they can have a shared understanding of the database.
