RECENT ACTIVITIES Florida Governor Eddie Lee’s Slogan: “EMBRACE THE POSSIBILITIES!” New Florida Governor Eddie Lee’s Slogan: “EMBRACE THE POSSIBILITIES!” CLUB MEETING – April 26, 2012 INVOCATION JSO Lt. David Coffman gave a very informative presentation about the youth in our community. David is a 31 year plus veteran of the JSO. He began his career in 1980 as a patrol officer and worked his way up through the ranks in various assignments and positions within the JSO to include patrol, special operations and detective divisions. His career accomplishments include sworn supervisor of the month in September 1997 and JSO sworn supervisor of the year in 1998. David has served as the Assistant Chief of Community Affairs Division since 2006. Heavenly Father, Teach us that we can discover genuine joy in humble giving and beautiful rewards in caring, generous living. Teach us that Kiwanis provides us with a rare opportunity to help many who are in need so that we may experience this uncompromising joy. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. She is also school advisor for K-Kids at Mayport Elementary. Brigette was presented a commemorative plaque and small check by club President Debbie Johnson, assisted by Mayport Elementary Principal Yvonne Ferguson and Beaches Kiwanis past President John Bates. BIRDIES FOR CHARITY FUNDRAISER HAPPY BUCKS The Annual Birdies for Charity is under way.
