TF HTAP main elements of CR • Factual • Meeting participation, parties and non-parties • Breif summary of the presentations and some points of the discussion • Short description of ECE activities and outside ECE (Asia and Africa) • Taking note of the conclusions of the Gothenborg WS and the entry into force of the 1999 multi-pollutant multi-effect protocol

TF HTAP • Substantive points: 1 • Confirm the findings of previous workshop (BB), highlighting some of the latest advances supporting the existance of HTAP, such as from space observations and modelling • The TF chairs outlined a number of policy-relevant science questions, which were revised; these would be the basis for the TF work plan over the next years

TF HTAP • Substantive points: 2 • Expectations of the nominated focal points • Supports the initiative, some representatives would like to focus on the issue of ozone and PM, others wished to maintain the broader perspective • Outcome of panels • Priorities of work in the different areas • Observations • Emissions (including shipping and aviation) • Modeling
