  1. 5 Activities That Develop Your Baby’s Life Skills Seeing your baby roll over or sit up is exciting for most parents. While these milestones are important for your baby’s development, there are more valuable skills that your baby can start experiencing and learning before they start walking. Emotional and social skills that help your baby relate to others, deal with their own emotions, negotiate conflict and build relationships, are what will set them up to be happy, confident and successful in life. Here are 5 activities that will help you nurture these skills in your child from birth. 1. Take time-outs Teach your baby how to handle their emotions and bring themselves under control.
