Changes to Stormwater Ordinance: Fee Structure and Benefits for Property Owners

The current stormwater ordinance is set for revision to create a fair fee structure based on property use. Property owners utilizing the system will pay fees correlating with the service level accessed, while those not using it will not incur charges. The proposed changes categorize properties into developed residential and commercial users, with new credits and exemptions. Additionally, property size thresholds will be eliminated, allowing for a more equitable assessment. Upcoming city workshops aim to discuss these modifications and gather stakeholder input.
