  15. Data: Specific information collected about members. This information is used to calculate indicators. Indicators are measurable actions or attributes, based on age-specific milestones that reveal whether or not young people are achieving outcomes. Outcomes are the results a young person achieves. Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles are the Movement’s priority outcomes.

Use an electronic system to track membership Consolidate membership, program participation and outcome data into a single, electronic, Web-enabled system Maintain high quality data (e.g., reconcile duplicate members, review data for quality and completeness, etc.) Attend training offered by BGCA and by membership management system vendors Include language in the parent release section of the membership application that authorizes the Club to provide member data to BGCA National Outcomes Initiative Teaching Kit To get ready, Clubs are encouraged to:
