  2. 1. BandhavgarhNational Park You can see rugged and beautiful narrow valleys of the Vindhyan range from this national park. Grasslands and water holes make an excellent habitat for tigers. An ancient fort in the middle of the park adds mystery and glamor for visitors and it was used as the hunting ground by “Maharajas”. It is known for having the highest densities of tigers with 105 sq km covered area. The tourism area is divided into 4 zones. There, you can see beautiful ‘Sal’ trees in the lower areas. It has a substantial number of thriving Tigers and renownedas a winner. Area: 448sq km- 105sq km is core and 343 sq kmis bufferforest. Park Season: From 15th Oct to 30th June

Rainy season is ideal for exploring the wildlife because may also see various insects, birds sheltering and reptiles. There is a great opportunity of sighting a tiger in this season. You may also see small tiger cubs trailing with their mothers in the park. Area:275 sq km of core forest Park Season: From October to June.

  4. 3. Kanha National Park It is located in the eastern part of the ‘Satpura’ mountain range. It is the best place to visit and enjoying holidays. It is the “Land of Tiger”. On the track of driving, you can see tall ‘al trees, bamboo etc. Water holes and seasonal streams give a pictorial quality to this landscape. The tiger can be seen anywhere in the park within an area of 940 sq km of core forest. There are estimated 50-60 adult tigers in the park. Two other large predators- ‘leopard’ and ‘wild dogs’ can also be seen.
