  1. 5th Alfven Conference on Plasma Interaction with Non-magnetized Planets/Moons and its Influence on Planetary Evolution, Sapporo, Japan , October 4-8, 2010 Multi-fluid and Hybrid Code Simulations of Solar-Wind Interaction with the Martian Hydrogen Exosphere: PCW Generation K. Sauer(1,2), Ch. Mazelle(3), K. Baumgärtel(4) and R. Sydora(2) Summary: The interaction of two different proton (ion) populations with relative drift leads to the generation of large-amplitude waves near Ωp. At the final state the differential velocity reaches about ∆v~2VA.
