    There was a rare fossa born at the zoo on January 6th 2006 Fossas have a cat like appearance they are also Madagascar's main predators The zoo started off with a small verity of songbirds, an elephant, a tiger, and a blind hyena. The zoo is in the top 5 zoos in America. This zoo is the oldest in America at 131 years. There are over 500 species the zoo takes care of The zoo is involved in over 38 different projects all over the world
