  3. Target Audience • Documentary – Target audience could be news papers readers for photo journalism or TV/Film programmes. The age range would likely be 24-40 years. • Commercial (Studio) – Studio photography is often used to help advertise. Companies would use advertising to boost their sales. An example of this could be Dove advert. • Time-lapse – This may be used in documentaries or to show the development of time. For example how a flower may grow from seed to flower. This may be shown to children as part of education • Portraiture – Family portraiture is very popular and is used within a studio. It would appeal to families, parents, friends etc. • Sport – Action photography of motion is used within sport to capture significant events such as a football match. It is often a male audience from children to adults. • Landscape – may be used in postcards for tourists, or for more general usage in people’s houses. • Architecture – Can be used for various people. Architects can use the images to device plans, or see the quality of a house, or you may have pictures in a office or work environment. • Nature – This is useful for education or informing people. Target audiences may range from 15-50

  4. Statistics • To find out the success of wedding portraiture I researched a company and the number of clients they serve. I have researched that there are 30000 clients for virtual photographers that take pictures of people at weddings. This is one company suggesting that wedding photography is very popular.

  5. Ideas for coursework • Mask- For my mask I have decided to make a simple mask showing not much emotion in the face and I will use only white grey and black colours on the mask this would mean to keep the emotion hidden and simple • Object – my object must relate around my personality and what I like to do. I have chosen my bike as my object. The bike relates to m e very strongly as I am interested in bmxing.
