Target Audience • Portraiture – If this was in studio it would appeal to family's and friends however if this was at a location it might be used for advertising. • Landscapes – This might appeal to architects and tourists. • Abstract – This would probably appeal to artists or families wanting pictures in their house. • Commercial – This type of photography would appeal to shoppers because it gives them an idea of what they could buy. • Nature – This would appeal to explorers or families who want some pictures in their house. • Sports – This may appeal to sports fans or might apply for advertising. • Forensics - This type of photography would appeal to crime scene investigators because it allows them to see evidence in the photograph. • Photo Journalism – This would appeal to people interested in the news or people who buy news papers.

My Idea’s • Mask – For this I shall be doing location portraiture in the style of a magazine, market research helped me with this decision because these types of photos have the widest market and although difficult to penetrate has the highest sales number. • Object – For this I will also be using portraiture however this will be indoors so can be classed as studio instead, I chose this as a change from location because photos have to be different.
