  8. DEFINITION OF TERMS Accreditation Application This refers to the application for accreditation of an individual or organization. Renewed regularly. Entity Type Used interchangeably with application type Application Type Type of application – hotel, homestay, tourist transport, cave guide. Supporting Documents These are documents digitized or scanned to be uploaded to the TFSS-Accreditation TFSS-Accreditation The Tourism Facilities and Services System – Accreditation module. Entity/Entities Establishments or individuals who have been or who are subject to accreditation. Accredited entity means an accredited establishment (hotel, spa, tourist inn) or an individual (tour guide, taxi driver, cave mountain guide).

OBJECTIVES • The objectives for evaluation process are: • To be able to accept online applications • to be able to validate application forms submitted by the applicants • to be able to verify the authenticity of supporting documents submitted • to be able to approve and endorse application for inspection

ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> RECEIVING AND ASSESSMENT OF APPLICATIONS USER: EVALUATORS Step 1: Open Internet Browser Step 2: Type in http://e-services.tourism.gov.ph/Accreditation If internet Connection is ok, DOT Portal Log In Page will be displayed Step 3: Enter the given User Name and Password and click OK button Step 4: Click OK button to log in Step 5: Under NEW APPLICATION Category, Select <Entity Name> to display the application record and other details of the chosen entity Step 6: Select Application Form tab to display application form submitted by the applicant Step 7: Evaluator validates data entered by the applicant in the application form

ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> RECEIVING AND ASSESSMENT OF APPLICATIONS Step 1: Open Internet Browser Step 2: Type in http://e-services.tourism.gov.ph/Accreditation If internet Connection is ok, DOT Portal Log In Page will be displayed Step 3: Enter the given User Name and Password and click OK button Step 4: Click OK button to log in 13

  14. ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> RECEIVING AND ASSESSMENT OF APPLICATIONS Upon log-in, page will display list of all pending task assigned for the user.

  15. ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> RECEIVING AND ASSESSMENT OF APPLICATIONS Step 5: Under NEW APPLICATION Category, Select <Entity Name> to display the application record and other details of the chosen entity

ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> EVALUATION OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS Step 1: After assessment of application forms submitted to evaluators, Click Supporting Documents tab to display list of supporting documents associated with the entity Step 2: Click <Application Required Document Title> to display document details Step 3: Select attachments to view document for review/verification Step 4: Right Click the link and open in a new tab/window to view the document Step 5: For Word and Excel files, Enter Username and password to open the file Step 6: Evaluator verifies the authenticity of the supporting documents submitted by the applicant to Accreditation Step 7: Once the selected Application Required Documents has been verified and validated, evaluator updates document status into CHECKED and add remarks in the remarks field if necessary.

ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> EVALUATION OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS Step 8: If submitted document is found to be invalid, Evaluator updates status to CHECKED FOR RESUBMISSION and applicant needs to re-upload the rejected document. Step 9: Click Upload Documents Tab for manual applications that evaluators will be the one to upload supporting documents Step 10: Browse and select the document to be attached Step 11: Enter Document Expiry Date if applicable and click upload button to upload the document

ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> RECEIVING AND ASSESSMENT OF APPLICATIONS Step 1: Once Supporting Documents has been verified, Evaluator clicks Remarks/Comments tab to display remarks made by the evaluator for the specific entity Step 2: Click Edit to add remarks Step 3: Enter Comments to the field provided Step 4: Click OK button to save changes and Cancel button to go back to the previous page Step 5: Click Update button to update status to FOR INSPECTION and forward application to Inspectors Step 6: Click OK button to update status. Cancel button will go back to the default page

  36. ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> APPROVAL OF APPLICATION FOR INSPECTION Step 1: Once Supporting Documents has been verified, Evaluator clicks Remarks/Comments tab to display remarks made by the evaluator for the specific entity

  41. ACCREDITATION > EVALUATION PROCESS> APPROVAL OF APPLICATION FOR INSPECTION Step 5: Click Update button to update status to FOR INSPECTION and forward application to Inspectors
