  3. 1. 위성 DMB 란 무엇인가? • Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting • 특성 : 1) 높은 이동성(시속 150km 이상) 2) 개인형 매체 3) 멀티미디어(영상, 음성, 데이터 등) 4) 시청시간 확장 (주로 출,퇴근 때) • 이동통신 단말기 안의 칩셋상에서 구현 • 장점 : 비디오 채널 다수(지상파DMB 1개) 요금 저렴(June 서비스는 통신이용)

  5. 2. 서비스 내용 • 채널 : 비디오 11개, 오디오 25개, 데이터방송 3개 (38개 채널 PP,CP, DP 할당, 1개 채널 직접운영 계획) • 가입비 : 20천원 • 수신료 : 12~15천원/월 • 단말기 형태 : 휴대전화 결합용(칩셋), 차량용, DMB전용, 노트북 PC용(PCMCIA 카드), 고정용(숙박업소 등)
