  1. NCTE NING ww.ncte2008.ning.com Sign Up for the NCTE Ning. If you belong to other Ning’s the same sign in information should work.

  2. If you are new to the Ning Network, you will be asked to create a profile.

  3. After being approved to the NCTE Ning (about 24 hour wait) visit the Ning at ncte2008.ning.com

  4. Click on Groups and locate the 2010 Spring Virtual Conference Group

  5. Upon entering this group, you will see “Members must be approved” text. Click to request access from the Group Creator.

  6. Click to request access and if you would like, please send a message (optional).

  7. You will receive this message about waiting until you are accepted by the group creator.

  8. When you are accepted, you will receive an e-mail message saying “Welcome…” Click on the “To view this group, visit:” to gain access to this private group within the Ning. And that is all! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Janet Brown at jbrown@ncte.org.
