  6. Learning diary The Present Continuous Tense is used to: 1. a) express actions happening at the moment of speaking. 1.b) refer to actions that are happening about the moment of speaking.

  17. Be+going to is used : • to speak about future plans and intentions. • when there’s evidence that something will definitely happen.

  18. Will is used to: • make predictions. • to make on-the-spot decisions.

  19. The present perfect is used to: • speak about actions started in the past and which are relevant in the present.

  20. When we use reported speech, verbs are usually changed.

  24. The simple past can usually stay the same in reported speech, or you can change it to the past perfect.
