Switched over to new system at 10:30 on Tue, Feb 10 it has been in ever since Cavities did not detune this time (got amplitude right) Phase match OK, after initial adjustment Can move frequency around, e.g. to center on cooling currently this is D:PJWR53, in h=90 Hz, minus 53000000 can change to h=1 units, eliminate offset, once ACNET gives Dave P. the DOUBLE PRECISION math he requested for now, new knobs are on P8  DRF_1  29 currently, MI phase is measured ~250ms before beam arrives, so a 90Hz (h=90) frequency adjustment requires an 8 phase adjustment (but this is easy to fix in the firmware) Bunch rotation, stacking seem to look OK! Now what? • Move RF and cooling to center of Debuncher? • Sounds as if DVM is eager to do it! • Fix known annoyances • specify phase at beam transfer time, not at $79 time, to remove frequency/phase correlation • self-calibrate to 10MHz external reference • specify in h=1 units, not h=90 units • Watch for operational issues • Specify & build permanent system (with spares, etc.)
