The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) produces monthly estimates of various economic indicators, including the unemployment rate, statewide employment by industry, average weekly hours in manufacturing, and earnings across industries. Additionally, the DWD provides mass layoff statistics, quarterly employment counts at the county level, and local employment dynamics. This information supports local workforce boards, planners, and job seekers in understanding economic changes, staffing patterns, and wage data.
