  5. The UC  TAG requires you to self-report: • A complete academic history of each college that you have attended or if you are currently enrolled at another college. • Test scores from Advanced Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) Higher Level Examinations. • A plan that demonstrates how you will fulfill UC transfer admission requirements with junior-level class standing by the end of spring term prior to fall enrollment. • A plan that demonstrates how you will fulfill UC selective major requirements by the end of spring term prior to fall enrollment.

  6. Official Minimum Requirements for TAG • On track to meet minimum UC transfer admission requirements.- 30 UC transferable semester (45 quarter) units completed. 60 units completed by spring 2015.- 2.80-3.40 or higher UC GPA. -Engl 1A and either Engl 1B or Engl 1D completed. -College level math course completed. (Dependent upon UC campus and major selected) • For selective majors, meet GPA requirements at the time the TAG is submitted in required courses.

  7. Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) • Use the TAP tool as soon as you know you’re interested in doing a TAG. • See your counselor to develop a Comprehensive Student Education Plan (CSEP). It outlines the courses that will meet your major preparation and GE requirements. • Go to the TAG website and create a TAP account. • Input your (CSEP) classes into the TAP tool. • The CTC has computers and staff that can assist you with this process.

  8. Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) • TAP allows broader program participation & opportunities by communicating events, deadlines & other info. • You can import your academic history info from the TAP into the TAG. • You can also import your TAG info to the UC App for Admission • Uses the same user ID & email. • TAP supports TAG, it doesn’t replace it.

  11. Tips for the My Information Section • In the personal and demographic (optional) information, encourage students to: • Use a reliable email address that is checked regularly. • Be consistent with use of their name on all UC applications. • In the academic history section, students should: • List ALL high schools and colleges attended (including out-of-state and out-of-country) • Manually enter institutions only when not included on the pull-down menu provided. • Be thorough and accurate!

  12. My Information: My Transfer Plan • Indicate the term and year of transfer. • List each UC campus and major of interest. • This does not guarantee that the student will be contacted by a UC representative.

  13. My Coursework • Units earned are generated automatically • UC transferable courses (that are ASSIST certified) will appear on the list • Non-transferable CA community college (CCC) courses & courses from other institutions will not appear. • Courses must be added manually, exactly as they appear on transcripts. • Enter subject, course #, title, grade earned, units received.
