  4. What is a TAA/TAG? • Transfer Admission Agreement (TAA) • Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) • Contractual Agreement between EVC and four year institution securing guaranteed admission

  5. Counselor develops an educational transfer plan with specific guidance on major preparation & general education coursework • Ensure admission to specific campuses • Early review of your academic record & confirmation of guaranteed admission • Application fee may be waived Benefits of TAA/TAG

California State University, East Bay • California State University, Monterey Bay Private/Independent Universities • Golden Gate University • National Hispanic University • National University • Notre Dame de Namur University • Santa Clara University • University of the Pacific Participating TAA Institutions

  7. When applying to a TAA you must see a counselor Maintain good academic progress Complete the appropriate coursework listed in the TAA Comply with all terms listed in the contract TAA Eligibility

UC Davis* 3.2 GPA all majors & 3.30 College of Engineering UC Santa Cruz* 3.0 GPA all majors UC Irvine 3.2 GPA all majors UC Riverside 3.0 GPA all majors UC Santa Barbara 3.2 all majors UC Merced 3.0 Engineer, 2.90 Natural Sci., 2.80 Soc. Sci. except Psych UC San Diego 3.5 GPA Note: Students can only apply to one UC using one TAG. *Require a CCC Counselor to review TAG prior to submission by the student. Participating TAG Institutions

Evergreen Valley College Transfer Students • Complete 30 transferable units from a California Community College • Has met the UC’s admission requirements • Does not have a BA or graduate degree • Never enrolled at a UC during regular term • Must be in good standing • IGETC completion only for UCSD UC TAG Eligibility

Students are highly encouraged to complete the UC TAG Worksheet prior to seeing a counselor UC Davis & UCSC must have EVC Counselor review the TAG prior to online submission Student/schedule appointment with EVC Counselor if assistance is needed with any TAG Student submit online TAG application & a UC admission application TAG is optional. Students can apply to one or all UC’s without a TAG using regular admission. EVC TAG PROCESS
