  16. Advice to someone starting out • DATA DATA DATA • How many sources? Is it clean? If not, who will clean it? Can you get it into Excel easily? Is it better to start with a clean slate? • Process Mapping • Define (and map) your process BEFORE putting into SF • Limit scope of SF project to several well-defined areas • Don’t try to bite off the whole thing, try one piece at a time • Reporting is limited, may need add-on packages • Currently only 3 objects can be related to each other concurrently • Costs • >10 Licenses, Training, AppExchange apps, implementation (if you decide to use a consultant)
