Students are advised to go through the syllabus and mark down the weightage of the topics from each subject before starting preparing for the NTSE examination. Students can take reference from NTSE previous year papers to find detailed information regarding the section wise weightage for each subject. Analyzing the syllabus properly makes you stand separate from the crowd of non serious aspirants. ● Concept Learning NTSE is conducted for those students who are studying in class 10. Strong your fundamentals with reference books i.e. NCERT. Applicants can cover their entire syllabus with NCERT. The main objective of conducting this examination is to identify the problem solving ability of the student in different situations. As paper 1 is qualifying round you prepare this section with previous year papers but for paper 2 you refer to NCERT for better understanding of the concepts. Prefer NCERT solutions for class 10 if you find any difficulty in understanding the concepts.

  8. ● Solve Previous Year Question papers Never underestimate the power of previous year papers. These are the weapons that can assure your success in the examination. Solving last year's papers helps you identify the latest test pattern.. It also helps you to identify the difficulty level of the examination. NTSE repeats the same pattern of question and more than 50 percent of the paper is designed on the basis of previous year paper pattern so it is a must for every student to solve PYQ as many times as possible. ● Attempt Mock Test Once you have completed your syllabus and previous year questions, Start attempting mock tests as much as possible. Mock tests check your preparation and help you to identify your weaker sections. It also helps to boost your problem solving speed in the examination. Students can also solve NTSE sample papers to give a reality check for their preparation for NTSE. Conclusion Every year lakh of aspirants apply for this examination and only thousand candidates select for this scholarship program. It is completely true to say that this examination is not apt for non serious aspirants. If you are ready to devote your time and sacrifice your daily routine then feather is going to be in your cap.
