Select “Save this to disk” option and click on “OK”. Select a destination to save the zipped BSL file. Right click on the zipped BSL file and select “Extract to C:....etc” (you must have a program like WinZip to do this).

  1. Select “Save this to disk” option and click on “OK”

  2. Select a destination to save the zipped BSL file.

  3. Right click on the zipped BSL file and select “Extract to C:\....etc” (you must have a program like WinZip to do this)

  4. A BSL Folder will be created, which contains the extracted files from BSL zipped file.

  5. Open the folder and double left-click on the “SETUP” file.

  6. Click on “Yes”

  7. Click on “Next”

  8. Click on “Next”

  9. Select “60 Hz” and click on “Next”

  10. Select “No hardware (allows analysis only) and click on “Next”

  11. Click on “Finish”

  12. Just click “Finish”

  13. Your BSL program is now installed. You may access it through the start menu and in the folder called “BIOPAC” within the “Programs” folder. You should also have your data files ready. If not, you must download them now before moving further.

  14. After starting up BIOPAC, the program will load and a pop-up window will appear. Select the folder where you saved your data files into and click on “OK”

  15. And you are ready to analyze. Please refer to your BSL lesson manual or consult Dr. Lisa Baker for the rest.
