Earth Ground Checks • Sites that comply with CASS FRD Ground ------------------------------------------------------- • Western US MALS: 11, 16, 24, 13 • MALS-13 Has 5 pads with electrolytic rods • Eastern US MALS: 14, 26, 29, 31 • Fort Worth MALS-41 (JRB-NAVFAC Measured) -------------------------------------------------------- • MALS-39 new construction to include upgraded grounding w Lyncole assistance

  12. Power Quality • Remove current on Ground Conductors • Separate Neutral from Ground on MFs nearing conclusion • MMG-1A rehabs, New MF connectors • Benefits • Less damage to electronic components • May create less corrosion to MF exterior • Reduced number of earth ground rods
